David Stanley King, 68, passed away Monday, April 11, 2017, in his Amity Township home, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 1, 1949 in Pottstown, David was a son of the late David K. and Ruth (Eisendhart) King. For 39 years, he was the loving husband of his best friend Louise (Carrier) King.
A graduate of Daniel Boone High School, David worked all his life as a laborer in a wide variety of construction capacities. He will always be remembered for referring to himself as a “Jack of All Trades….Master of None.”
He also proudly served our Country as an Army veteran in the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter Julianne, wife of David, Kansas, and his son Thomas, Mt. Penn. He is also survived by his brother Charles, husband of Debbie, Birdsboro, and sisters Miriam Hahn, Birdsboro and Dorothy Smith, Mohnton, as well as two grandchildren Abigale and David III, who he dearly loved and will greatly miss him.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held at a future date by his loving family.
