Nancy (Durman) Paglia, 92 passed away Wednesday, April 27 in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township. Born April 20, 1925 in Philadelphia she was the widow of Lawrence Paglia, who died in 1999. They were married September 21, 1945 and celebrated 53 years of marriage together.
Nancy was the loving daughter of the late William and Marion (McKenna) Durman. She was a talented athlete while growing up in the Philadelphia area, and later in life stayed active by swimming, synchronized swimming, gardening and painting on acrylic canvas.
She was also involved with the Girl Scouts, and loved going to the beach, with beach scenes a large focus of her painting.
She was devoted to her family, and only after lovingly raising her three children as a full-time mom, she worked as a bookkeeper in Philadelphia for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Janette, wife of Bart Feldman of Vineland, NJ and their daughters Darya and Erin. Darya is the wife of Tony Tomasello and they have two children Veronica and Lawrence. Erin is the wife of Julius Mendez and they also have two children, Giuliana and Lillian Nancy.
Nancy is also survived by her sons Robert of Denver, PA, and William of Orland Park, IL. William and his wife Janet have one son, Brian. There are also four great-grandchildren, whom Nancy dearly loved and who, along with her grandchildren, loved her greatly.
