Romeo A. Gramigna, 88, recently of Morgantown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, January 7, 2018, while surrounded by his three daughters.
Romeo was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and later moved to New York with his family. After joining the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Romeo married his childhood sweetheart, Fulvia (deceased) and enjoyed 40 years of marriage with her. He and Fulvia raised their four children in Exton, PA. Romeo then lived for many years in Downingtown before moving to Morgantown.
He is survived by his brother Mario; daughters Marcia (Marc) Thompson, Pamela (Scott) Lancaster, and Joia (Bob) Nagy; son Ronald Gramigna; grandchildren Rhiannon Lombard, Ronald (Sarah) Gramigna Jr., Lee Thompson, Taylor Rae, Christopher, Tessa, and Grayson Lancaster, Dylan and Jordan Nagy; and great granddaughter Michaela Gramigna. Romeo was also dearly loved by and leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Romeo worked as an electrical engineer for Unisys (formerly Burrough’s), enjoyed singing Italian songs at family gatherings, preparing gourmet meals for friends and family and playing golf and pool. He enjoyed life and entertaining and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
